A charitable gift of long-term appreciated securities offers two key advantages: an immediate income-tax deduction based on the full fair-market value of the securities and the avoidance of capital-gain taxes. Please contact the Development Office at info@pacificprimary.org for more information.

Matching gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some even provide matching funds for employee volunteer hours. The impact of your gift to Pacific Primary may be doubled or possibly tripled! Please check with your HR department to see if they participate. If they do:

• Inform them that you wish to donate a matching gift to Pacific Primary.
• Complete their required forms, specifying Pacific Primary as the beneficiary. You will likely need: the organization’s legal name (Pacific Primary), Tax Identification Number (23-7373767), and mailing address (1500 Grove Street, San Francisco, CA 94117).
• Ask for a confirmation of your matching gift once submitted.
• Notify info@pacificprimary.org that you have initiated a matching gift, the amount, and the confirmation from your employer.

Give via employee payroll deduction

Many companies offer employees the benefit of setting up a payroll deduction for charitable contributions. Please check with your HR department about setting up a payroll deduction to Pacific Primary, using the same organization details listed above, and notify info@pacificprimary.org once it’s set up.
